Choose the perfect event venue every-time

When you organize an event whoever it is for be it a celebration for you, your partner, a friend or another family member or even a business event you will want to set out to make sure everyone has a great time and goes away happy.
A big celebration can be the highlight of people’s years and a rare chance to catch up with friends, family or business associates.

Celebrations include family celebrations which often include close friends as well such as birthdays, major wedding anniversaries (such as Gold, Diamond and Ruby wedding anniversaries) and of course the hallmark event a wedding: that may be the ultimate opportunity for extended family to come together, even relatives you have never met or even never knew existed.

Other important events are religious including general religious festivals like Christmas, Eid al Adha and Ramadan and then there are those such as Bar Mitzvahhs and Christenings which are specific to a person.

All of these events though are important to people and need to go to plan: the first consideration is the venue, which impacts on a large number of other decisions.


A venue firstly must be able to hold enough people: with some events such as weddings you may be surprised how many people you invite so do a list first: remembering to include partners and children.

There may be quite few big enough venues for some events: especially for a meal where you want everyone sat in one space and not too spread out, or bunched up. At weddings and some other events it is important everyone can hear speeches and see the top table. Banqueting halls either independent ones or ones at hotels will allow plenty of space and several can accommodate a thousand guests or more without losing the idea of a family occasion.

You will also want entertainment at many events and may want it to continue for some time: look out for places with a dance floor and maybe also a stage for speeches and bands. At balls or conferences you may have keynote speakers or even comics so a good PA system is also a good extra to have. Again many banquet halls and conference centers come up with the goods here: they usually can allow space alongside the banqueting area as well for entertainment such as a dance floor while still having space for people to stay sat at their tables so they have a choice and don’t have to dance if they don’t want to.


Corporate events aren’t always so different: at least the entertainment and evening parts aren’t. If you hold a conference though the serious business will be done during the day: you will need a good range of different sized spaces though including seminar theatres and meeting rooms, maybe even exhibition space. You may also need to make sure equipment like seating and PA systems are provided at your venue. There are many conference centers about but many double as banqueting halls anyway with setups that mean rooms can be split up or enlarged to the ideal size. Using such a venue also means that it is easy to have the same venue set up after a conference for evening entertainment for delegates and a chance for them to have a meal together and then let their hair down and enjoy themselves.
